Opus Dei What do you say? IV

My family is totally original. In my home, we paint our own furniture, we sew our own clothes. Each one of us has worked on parts of the house. We present projects to our father and so, I have painted the kitchen, my sister has painted the stairs...We were and we are a very peculiar family.
The truth is that normal people have always attracted my attention. When I was a child, maybe twelve years old, I was invited to an Opus Dei club. I went with a friend and that delighted me. I saw things I did not have: how they prayed, how they were so happy...You see, my family is not a practicing family. I said to my friend: "I am coming here every day". My friend said: "Well, I will not come here again". Faced with the same reality, two persons reacted differently.
We artists lead a bohemian life, and that's true. I never know what I am going to do, how I am going to work. I do what comes to my mind. Each day I improvise. No one tells me what I have to do. Only God and my conscience and the confidence that the Work has placed in me that I am doing what I should do.
I could not sanctify myself if I did not have the Holy Mass. For me, the center is a fundamental part of my life. I go there every morning and I offer God my work, I ask Him for help. He is my master, because there is no greater artist than He. I offer Him all the effort that my work requires, I offer Him my fatigue.
On the subject of happiness despite the renunciation that is required of a numerary's vocation, I can answer you with thid phrase of a friend of mine who told me: "I have read all that is written about the Opus Dei: the positive and the negative; and I have just begun to understand it when I see you and I see that you are happy". That is because it is hard to explain, but here is the evidence.
I do not know any person who has frequent contact with ten persons of the Opus Dei who has any prejudices against them. These are my nephews, who have no prejudices about appearing in front of a camera.
Have you heard anything about the Opus Dei? I have no idea.
