Opus Dei in Lebanon

We received some interesting information from a Spain contact who did her annual seminar in Lebanon recently.  In a video presentation, Juliana explains a project called “Women in Rural Lebanese Areas” (WIRLA) (see photos above), which carries out important assistance work among Lebanese women, in coordination with a unit of the Ministry of Education.

Some information on Opus Dei in Lebanon:

In a blog by Angi Burt, we are told that Blanca lives in Al Tilal, a Conference Center near the mountains.  Blanca (Spanish) also works in an NGO whose mission is rural development through the upliftment of business and services to help in socio-economic empowerment.

In a video interview with Blanca, the journalist asks her if she was going to return to Madrid any time soon.  She answered saying, “There’s a lot of work to be done here in Lebanon.”  So the journalist thought, “Yes, you look very happy…”
