Father Luis de Moya
The Forum threads on Father Luis de Moya and on the links to his meditations dubbed to English have been receiving a lot of visits. We’d like to tell you here a bit more about him. [The image above is taken from his website.]
Father Luis suffered an automobile accident in 1991. His life was miraculously saved, but his spine was fractured and he lost all mobility and sensation below the neck. Almost 20 years after the accident which left him in the care of others, he strongly affirms that “every human being needs an environment where he can feel that he is loved, whether sick or well, whether a child or an adult, whether needing or not needing a wheel chair. To feel understood and helped by others is a need for every person. We have feelings and a heart, we rejoice at the good news of others, and weep with those who weep. Animals cannot cry, nor laugh; but men and women can.”
We share here a documentary video on Father Luis de Moya, which is found on the Fluvium.org YouTube channel:
